Intensive — Hot Tech Tools
The speaking business is rapidly changing. If you aren’t using some of the newest digital tools in your presentation and beyond, you’ll look ancient in the buyer’s eyes. Plus, you won’t be capturing hot leads and fans’ information.
There’s so much to learn and master. What is going to give you the biggest payoff for the time and money you invest? What can you use in your presentation that has value to the audience and helps you qualify leads? How do you get people to give you permission to push your ongoing messages to them? What might you be missing that would have a big payoff?
In these three sessions, you’ll hear different views of what can yield big results for you.
All SNN single-focused intensive packages are detailed here.
A friend was apologizing for not sending in more tips. I said, “Just think of what you’ve learned in the last week about anything to help your business. Did you learn a new way to distribute videos, get more followers, publish your articles, negotiate with a client? What did you think, ‘Note to self’? Put fingers to keyboard and send in those tips.”
Video email Chrome plugin — Shep Hyken
GoVideo by Vidyard’s free version is great for one-to-one video email.

Question to ask your client — Sean O’Dea
During the pre-event briefing with a client, after learning all about the audience, the organization and the theme, ask, “After the event is over and I am walking off the stage what do you say want to yourself?” This is the question that is going to confirm that they really understand what the organizers are looking for from the presentation and ensure that their expectations are met.

Dig a little for amazing award air travel deals — Rebecca Morgan
I recently stumbled upon a SFO-BOS award offer on American Airlines for 6.5K miles (coach) one way. That’s an amazing deal. Also, Alaska has some 5K miles award tickets. You may have to dig a little on your airline’s site for great deals.
Alternative for rental car insurance — Lori Silverman
Credit cards are dropping car rental insurance. Citibank is the first. Here’s one article from AutoSlash. I use them after I make a reservation to lower my rental cost. They also offer car rental insurance.
New travel app for women — Patti Pokorchak
Wengage is a new app to help female travelers make friends on the road or even at home. Like a social version of Tinder without the hassle. It enables women to find company in the very moment they want to go out, rather than go alone or miss out.
SNN’s “Book Marketing Report—What Really Works” features success tactics of those who’ve recently published a book, covering which marketing techniques work in today’s market and which don’t.
