How to Create an Enticing Name
for Your Company, Book, and Products
with Alexandra Watkins

Alexandra WatkinsWhat’s in a name? Potentially everything.

You know that the title of your presentation, or the title of your book, can catch the attention of a buyer and entice them to learn more. Or it can cause them to think, “Ho hum, nothing special here” and keep looking.

Whether you’re naming your business, or a product, having a memorable name will set you apart.

Companies pay big bucks to consultants to come up with distinctive names. In this session, one of those very successful consultants will show you how you can come up with your own.

Read more about this session at the bottom of this newsletter, then register for the live program or pre-order the recording.
Note: Everyone who registers for the live webcast session or orders the recording will get a link to the recorded video of the online webcast, as well as the audio MP3 for convenient re-listening.

Miscellaneous Tips

Does your website have a “buy now” button?Mitch Alverson

Even if you’re not an eCommerce site, you need the equivalent of a “buy now” button. Do you have one? If not, it’s like having a store with no cash register.

(Editors’ note: Mitch provided an information-packed SNN webcast, “Your Website Is Costing You Money. Here’s What You Can Do About It.”)

If writing and newsletters are part of your product mix, you may want to apply for the beta of the Mirror platform. That way you’ll know when it goes live and see if it might be a fit for you.

Teams and Zoom producerJudy Filek

I just completed a series of virtual programs on the TEAMS platform. Jerry Sullivan (312/286-3962) and his team got me up to speed and did a fabulous job of producing. He offered feedback and suggestions to make my virtual classes shine. He is reasonably priced, and is also an ace at Zoom.

Group your Chrome tabs togetherTom Terrific

Here’s a way to stay more organized when using Chrome. If you right-click on a Tab, you can either start a new group or add that tab to an existing group. I’ve cut back my tabs from 15 to 4. This should also make it easier when giving a presentation and want to quickly go to all the tabs in your presentation and disregard the rest.
