Facilitating for Profit: Building Client Value with Facilitation
Guest Expert:
Charlie Hawkins (About Charlie)
The Program:
Looking for ways to build long-term relationships vs. giving a one-off keynote? Thinking of adding "facilitation" to your list of services? Attend this session to fully understand what is needed and expected of someone in this role. We will explore how you can -- and if you should -- offer facilitation as a resource for your clients. We'll explore differences between speaking and facilitation, and venues for learning and practicing facilitation skills.
You will learn:
- How to use facilitation as a major strategy for building long-term client value
- The differences between speaking, training and facilitation
- Where and how facilitation is purchased in most organizations
- What are the basic skills of facilitation -- and what you need to know (and be able to do) before you call yourself a facilitator
- How and where you can learn and hone your facilitation skills
- About specialized facilitation, or how to avoid getting in over your head
