Building a Multi-Million-Dollar Practice in the AI Age (webcast)
with Randy Gage

Randy GageHave you been thinking, “I don’t work in an office. I’m a speaker, a content expert. AI isn’t going to take my job.”

Think again.

What you know isn’t going to be a permanent ticket, because before long, AI is pretty much going to know all that you know and more.

You need to be able to provide solutions to clients that AI can’t. Our next program — at a special time and for a special length — will give you a framework for developing a practice that can have huge payoff.

Read more about this session at the bottom of this newsletter, then register for the live program or pre-order the recording.

Note: Everyone who registers for the live webcast session or orders the recording will get a link to the recorded video of the online webcast, as well as the audio MP3 for convenient re-listening.

Miscellaneous Tips

Don't contribute to AI slopBeth Terry

It can be tempting to have AI help you — or entirely — write online content or books. Yes, you can crank out a lot of content this way, and perhaps even make some money, but ultimately it will hurt you.

See this story of someone who used AI to crank out books and the backlash he faced.

Technology Tips

AI video editing and captioning toolJulie Holmes

I’ve been on a journey testing a lot of AI video editing and captioning tools, and Submagic is definitely one to check out — particularly for short-form video. It not only nails captions, but also helps you find and edit the best video clips, then layers on b-roll and GIFs like a content-creating wizard. I am really appreciating all that it can do with JUST a phone. Whether you’re responsible for turning long-form into scroll-stopping shorts or, if you just like to test out new tech — this one is worth taking out for clip or two.

Need updated photos (and dreading it?). Use Aragon.ai for painless and powerful photos. Just upload 5 full-length photos and select "business." (My uploads were only ok and not professional.) You then select your body type and aragon.ai will generate dozens of very good headshots.

Power Tips: 1) Leave this in the shopping cart overnight and see if they email you a 50% off code. 2) Do all the editing in 30 days, e.g., remove backgrounds to make transparent for your social media needs. Otherwise you will need to purchase a 30-day/monthly subscription to do the edits.

Topic of the Month (TOTM) — Your Input Wanted

Our TOTM is: If you attended NSA’s Influence convention, what are some takeaways you’ll implement. If possible, credit who you learned this from.

Send your brief, pithy responses *that are different from those previously mentioned* to editor@SpeakerNetNews.com. Please put “Topic of the Month” or “TOTM” in the subject line.

Begin documenting your speaking activities for the CSP designation, even if you don't qualify yet. You can use your eSpeakers account to track all of your presentations and the details about each one. You can watch the “How to Earn Your CSP” session in the NSA vault.

Laurie Guest was invited to give a keynote on the elements of a powerful keynote. Instead of doing it all herself, she invited five colleagues to demonstrate each element, only doing one section herself. She pulled out the key takeaways from each segment.

She’s such a pro, she could have easily done all the sections herself, but by selflessly sharing the stage with other top speakers, we got to witness each one’s brilliance and different styles.

The lesson is you can often create even higher value for the audience if you’re willing to not take all the spotlight. By sharing it, you and the others shine brighter.

Building a Multi-Million-Dollar Practice in the AI Age (webcast)
with Randy Gage

Randy GageIf your business depends on one-off speeches, you’re on borrowed time. AI isn’t just changing the speaking game — it’s ending it. In three years, knowledge alone won’t get you booked — because AI will know more than you ever could. To succeed in the new AI-driven market, you need to transform from just another person offering speeches to the authority everyone is looking for.

By 2028, the market of clients who will be hiring you for what you know will be almost non-existent. No matter how extensive you believe your knowledge is, AI will know more. The only way forward is to become iconic.

You must be the authority people pay to access — not because of what you know, but because of who you are and how you deliver solutions AI never can.

If you’re interested in constructing this type of multi-million-dollar practice, this SNN webcast will help you map out the framework that works best for you and your market.

Succeeding in today’s market requires a more sophisticated model....

This means becoming iconic, getting paid because people want to know what you think. It begins by constructing a synergistic ecosystem of products and services: incorporating some combination of speaking, training, consulting, coaching, licensing, assessments, research, executive coaching, and other value-adding elements. And most importantly, building out your personal brand that keeps you relevant in AI searches, and being able to deliver real IP or value that can’t be delivered via AI platforms.

When you leave this session, you won’t just have ideas — you’ll have a playbook for transforming from a speech seller into a solution provider, capable of building a multi-million-dollar practice in the AI age.

The playbook will include:

  • Creating the ideal monetization model
  • Turning your content into a 24/7 money machine that books clients and sells products while you sleep
  • Publishing strategically so your name dominates the conversation — and the search results — when your market looks for answers
  • Building out a diversified product/service menu that generates flywheels for continuous cash flow
  • Synergistically integrating your podcasts, blog, newsletters, and social media to create campaigns
  • Owning the mindshare in your space
